University at Buffalo Program in International Finance & Law

Each year, approximately twenty University at Buffalo Law, Management and J.D./M.B.A. students are selected to participate in the New York City Program in Finance and Law. Students live and study in New York for twelve weeks, and receive a full semester’s academic credit toward their degrees.

The University at Buffalo is pleased to announce Early Placement in the New York City Program in Finance and Law in New York City. Space is limited for this one of a kind opportunity to learn and live in New York City!

University at Buffalo New York City Program in Finance and Law
Early Placement Application

The University at Buffalo Law School is pleased to announce Early Placement in the New York City Program in Finance and Law in New York City. The New York City Program in Finance and Law introduces students with a variety of backgrounds to the practices of lawyers engaged in transactional work in the global marketplace. The program is designed to prepare you to be “practice ready” upon graduation. Our team centered approach, allows for hands on learning and emphasizes creative thinking in solving real world problems in a fast paced and challenging environment.

To be considered for Early Placement you must:

1. Have your JD application submitted to the Law School office of Admission by December 1st. Note: The December LSAT is the last exam that can be considered for this program.
2. Be accepted to the Law School prior to /or after submission of the
Early Placement Application.
3. Submit the Application for Early Placement by January 1st, 2010

If you are selected for Early Placement, you will have a space reserved for you before you complete your first year of Law School. This is a competitive process and decisions will be made on a rolling basis. If you are offered early placement, you must submit a non-refundable seat deposit by April 1st. The Early Placement application must be submitted to the Law School Office of Admissions:
