Who is eligible to apply for the Program?
* University at Buffalo Law School students in their second or third year;
* University at Buffalo joint degree candidates if one of the degrees currently being pursued is at the Law School; and
* University at Buffalo School of Management students in their second year
When are applications due?
October 1, 2009
What should applications include?
* Resume
* Transcript
* Brief (1-2 pages) statement of interest and relevant experience
If necessary, interviews will be conducted the weeks of October 5 and 12, 2009.

Who gets priority for the Program?
We are looking for a mix of students with strong qualifications and genuine interest. We want students who will benefit from the experience. Although desirable, a finance background is not necessary.
When will the Program take place?
* The Program will begin with a prerequisite class in Buffalo during the January 2010 Bridge Term
* Students will need to be in New York City beginning on February 8, 2010.
* The Program will finish on May 5, 2010.
How Many Credits Will the Program Offer?
The Program, including the January Bridge Term class, will provide a total of 15 credits. It will satisfy the law school seminar requirement.
Is there housing available in New York City?
Most students find their own housing in the New York City area. In Spring 2008, for example, several students lived at the de Hirsch Residence a the 92nd Street Y I Manhattan. We do not provide housing.
What impact does participation in the Program have on financial aid awards?
Law school students receiving financial aid should consult Dean Lillie Wiley-Upshaw (O'Brian 309, lwiley@buffalo.edu) or Brezetta Steverson (O'Brian 306B, bns@buffalo.edu) for assistance requesting financial aid award adjustments to accommodate the higher cost of living in New York City.
