Students have an opportunity to meet other classmates, obtain their UBIDs, attend mandatory university-wide orientation sessions, and visit local legal and cultural sites.

The Office of Admissions will notify you if you will begin your program with UB Jump Start or with the all-entering student Orientation.

“Our goal for Jump Start is for participants to feel comfortable being law students, both in and out of the classroom, from day one.  Our students have responded enthusiastically to the program.  They appreciate the academic components and the opportunity to meet fellow students, faculty and staff before school officially starts,"  - Vice Dean for International and Graduate Programs, Meredith Kolsky Lewis.
