Why UB School of Law: As a Canadian citizen, the School of Law promises a significant educational and professional advantage. The Cross-Border program offers real-world lessons and exposure to attorneys with industry knowledge that will be key in the successful transition from the classroom to the workforce. I intend to leverage the expertise I gain at UB and practice as an attorney in an international capacity. My professional career in law is an outgrowth of a desire to do something of value by serving others, and I believe UB will help me reach my full potential.
Advice for new law students: Getting something wrong does not mean you've failed. It only means you should try something else. Be tenacious.
