Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 20, 2018, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Westin Buffalo (250 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, NY 14202). Cost is $90 per person and includes 2-hour open bar, hors d'oeuvres and stations. Discounted hotel rooms are available.

  • Professors Rebecca French, James A. Gardner and Lynn Mather completed their first year of teaching.
  • Judges Hugh B. Scott '74 and Ralph A. Boniello III '69 presided over trials in the new Letro Courtroom.
  • Space Shuttle Columbia exploded, killing all 7 astronauts.
  • The Department of Homeland Security officially began operation.
  • U.S. and Great Britain launched war against Iraq.
  • Norah Jones' "Come Away with Me" won Record of the Year at the Grammy Awards.

What your class has been up to...

Robert J. Fluskey Jr. ’03 was elected to the board of directors of the Erie County Bar Foundation in Buffalo. He is a partner with Hodgson Russ in the Buffalo office, handling cases involving complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Fluskey lives in East Amherst, N.Y.

Paul A. Sanders ’03 has been promoted to partner with Barclay Damon in Rochester, N.Y., where he resides. Sanders is a member of the firm’s professional liability, torts and products liability defense, and commercial litigation practice areas.
