The Baldy Center occasionally supports events organized by other
UB faculty, UB departments, and organizations. Such support is determined
by many factors including: relevance of the event to law and social
policy or legal institutions; interdisciplinary nature of the event;
amount of support requested; and the openness of the event. We prefer
events not to conflict with Baldy Center events scheduled at the
same time. Honoraria are not supported. Center staff cannot be expected
to help organize a cosponsored event. Decisions on cosponsorship
are at the discretion of the Center Director and dependant upon other
demands on Center funds.
If you are making a request to the Baldy
Center for cosponsorship of an event or visiting speaker, please
provide the following information:
