Directions to the Keynote Address

The Keynote Address by Hector Feliciano is being held at the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society in downtown Buffalo. The Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society's Pan-Am Building is located at 25 Nottingham Court. [ Yahoo! Maps ]

From Rochester and Erie
From Interstate 90, take Route 33 west to Route 198 (Scajaquada Expressway) west. Exit the 198 at Elmwood Avenue, turn right from the off-ramp onto Elmwood Avenue. Turn right onto the first street on your right, Nottingham Terrace, and turn into the parking lot at your right. The Museum is located on your left from the parking lot.

From Niagara Falls and Toronto
From Interstate 190, exit at Route 198 (Scajaquada Expressway) east and continue to the exit at Elmwood Avenue. Bear right and continue to the intersection with Elmwood. Turn right onto Elmwood Avenue and turn right on to the first street, Nottingham Terrace. At the first right turn into the parking lot; the museum is located on your left from the parking lot.

Air Travel to Buffalo
The Buffalo-Niagara International Airport (BUF) is served by all major airlines and also by a number of smaller carriers. The University at Buffalo and the University Inn hotel are only a 15 minute drive from the airport as is the keynote venue, the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society.

Airlines serving the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport include Air Tran, American, Continental, Delta, Jet Blue, Northwest, Southwest, United, and US Airways.

Driving Directions to Conference

From Toronto
UB is less than 2 hours away
Take the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) southwest out of Toronto toward Hamilton and Fort Erie. Continue on the QEW past St. Catherines then take Highway 405 to the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge and continue east over the bridge (toll) into the U.S. Once in New York state, you are on the interstate I-190.

Stay on the I-190, through Niagara Falls and over Grand Island.  Immediately after the bridge off Grant Island, take the I-290. Take the  I-290 exit East.

Traveling east on the I-290 take exit 5B Millersport Highway North.
Take Millersport to the Coventry Street Entrance of the University at Buffalo North (Amherst) Campus. Turn left at the light onto Coventry Street. The Center for the Arts is straight ahead. Parking is available on Coventry, or in either of the two "Slee” lots which are directly in front of the Center for the Arts Building. We have alerted Campus Parking so that you will not be ticketed.  

Driving Directions from Central New York
Take the New York State Thruway (I-90) West (portions are toll) to I-290 West. Proceed west on the I-290 to exit 5B, Millersport Highway North.

Take Millersport Highway to the Coventry Street entrance of the University at Buffalo North (Amherst) Campus. Turn left at the light onto Coventry Street. The Center for the Arts is straight ahead. Parking is available on Coventry, or in either of the two "Slee” lots which are directly in front of the Center for the Arts Building.
