2017 Results

On Saturday, Oct. 21, over sixty students competed in the 2017 Desmond Moot Court Competition. Seventy volunteers consisting of law professors, members of the local bench and bar judged our annual competition.

The team of Andrew B. Plewinski '18 and Allyson L. Kehl '18 won the Competition, barely edging the second-place team of 2L's Anthony DiPerna ‘19 and William Hython ‘19.

Students also won the following awards:

  • Best Brief: Andrew B. Plewinski '18 and Allyson L. Kehl '18
  • Runner-up Best Brief: Anthony DiPerna ‘19 and William Hython ‘19
  • Best Oral Advocate: Anthony DiPerna ‘19
  • Runner-up Best Oral Advocate: Laura Godly ‘18
  • George Kannar Award: Andrew B. Plewinski '18

The competition concluded with an awards banquet held that evening.
