FEBRUARY 2003

I am delighted to report that graduates and friends warmly welcomed our inaugural issue of UB Law Links last month. I enjoyed hearing from you – it’s the best part of my job – and I greatly appreciated your feedback and suggestions. Please keep your comments coming!
It was wonderful to see so many alumni from across the state in New York City at our annual luncheon in the Union League Club. I am looking forward to seeing Buffalo-area alumni at the Buffalo Public Interest Law Program auction on Friday evening, Feb. 28th, in the Hyatt Regency. This popular event raises money for fellowships for law students who give up lucrative summer jobs in firms in order to work in the public interest. They deserve our support. We are proud that UB Law continues to send more graduates to public interest/public service jobs than most of the other law schools.
Since this newsletter uses a moderated listserv format, you can respond simply by replying to this message as you would to any e-mail, or call me at 716-645-2107.
     Sincerely,
