Hometown: Buffalo, New York

Undergraduate institution and major(s), minor(s): Hilbert College, B.S.  Major: Criminal Justice, concentration in Law.

Legal Interests: Criminal Law interests me. I took a course my first year at Hilbert that went over New York's Penal Law. I found it really fascinating and that is when I knew I wanted to go to law school.

Law School activities: Student Ambassador Program, Assistant Chief Hearing Representative for the Student-Wide Judiciary, and Contracts Teaching Fellow. I will also be competing in the Desmond Moot Court Competition this fall (as a requirement for taking Appellate Advocacy).

Fun fact: I've been playing soccer for over fifteen years but this summer was my first time coaching Soccer.

Why did you choose UB School of Law?: Being born and raised in Buffalo, you always hear about how great UB is. The law school is no different. Knowing that I want to live in practice in Buffalo, UB was a no brainer for me.

One piece of advice for accepted students: Get involved! There is plenty of work that you have to do but part of what kept me sane during the first year was hanging out with my friends at social gatherings, joining fun clubs, etc.
