A Message from the Dean

“How Can I Help?” This has been the most frequent question asked by our alumni throughout my first full year as dean. And the answer is, so many different ways – and you have not let me down.

Thanks to the continued support of alumni like you over the last year, we have invested even more in successful outcomes for our students, through scholarships, programs, summer fellowships and so much more.

But there is much more to be done, and your support is vital to helping us do so. Our mission has never been more important. Solutions to 21st century legal issues require lawyers to see beyond boundaries, to analyze and innovate, to be bold and fearless. We need attorneys – UB School of Law educated attorneys – who advocate effectively, ensure justice for the underserved, drive our economy, and anticipate future challenges.

My goal – our goal – is to Be Bold. To decisively and collectively build on our momentum, ensuring that each and every one of our students receives the best possible UB law school education and the job of their choice when they graduate.
