Environmental Protection: State,
Federal, and International Responsibility
In celebration of Earth Week, the Environmental Law Society and the Federalist Society are co-sponsor an event and panel discussion on the various levels of responsibility regarding environmental protection and sustainability and the role of the role of states, the federal government, and the international community on this issue. Speakers include: Professor Jonathan Adler (Case Western Reserve University Law School); Associate Professor Jessica Owley (SUNY Buffalo Law School); and Richard J. Lippes (of Richard J. Lippes & Associates) and moderatored by Prof. Errol Meidinger (SUNY Buffalo Law School).

A Comparative Conversation on
Causation and Culpability in the Criminal Law
This conference will bring together speakers from Europe, Latin America and the United States to talk about a wide variety of issues related either to causation or culpability in the criminal law. The event is part of the Buffalo Criminal Law Center’s Comparative Criminal Law Conversations Project.
