21st Annual BPILP Auction
The funds raised at the auction allow BPILP to provide fellowships to law students who wish to pursue public interest work in Buffalo and beyond.
Time: 6:00-10:00 p.m.
Location: The Pearl at the Webb, 76 Pearl St., Buffalo
Cost: $40 for general admission, $25 for students. Ticket to the auction includes hors d'oeuvres, a buffet dinner, two hours of an open bar, and the opportunity to win many wonderful items.

OUTLaw Annual Dinner Celebration
The 2016 OUTLaw Dinner Honoree will be William (“Bill”) H. Gardner '59 - a pioneer in the legal defense of gay rights. Gardner challenged NY's sodomy law in People v. Onofre, where the NY Court of Appeals struck down the law, and several years later he argued People v. Uplinger before the U.S. Supreme Court to defend that earlier victory. Gardner, a retired senior partner from Hodgson Russ, LLP, is active in a number of local organizations, including The Buffalo Gay Men's Chorus. He also uses his legal skills as a diligent volunteer in the Buffalo community.

Rochester CLE: Cross-Examination: Practical Tips
The Rochester Chapter of the Law Alumni Association will offer this CLE free to paid members of the Law Alumni Association. Speakers include Gary J. Muldoon '76, Partner, Muldoon, Getz & Reston; Dan O'Brien '77, Partner, Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP; and Jill Paperno '84, First Assistant Public Defender, Monroe County Public Defender's Office. The program will be moderated by Hon. Erin M. Peradotto '84, Justice, NYS Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Deptment. A guided tour of the Courthouse will follow the CLE program.
CLE: Earn 1.5 NYS CLE credits in the area of Skills (transitional or non-transitional credit).
