Tuition

The School of Law offers an affordable tuition rate for New York State and non-New York State residents. The tuition rates and fees listed below are for the 2024-25 academic year.

Note: Successful in-state applicants are required to provide proof of New York State residency post-admission. Refer to UB Student Accounts for the most current information regarding New York State Residency.

Scholarships

Our scholarships aim to ease the burden on students and attract qualified candidates. We take pride in offering a high-value education where you don't have to compromise between the right school for your legal career and financial well-being. There are many scholarship opportunities available with the School of Law, as well as within the community and across the country.  

Merit Scholarships

Merit scholarships are available to students demonstrating high academic achievement, and state aid is offered on a need basis to qualified students. 

Scholarship opportunities are available to enrolled UB School of Law students. These scholarships are renewed on an annual basis and are based on donor funding.

Private scholarship opportunities are offered by law firms and community organizations. Scholarships are available to incoming and continuing students.
