Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 20, 2018, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Westin Buffalo (250 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, NY 14202). Cost is $90 per person and includes 2-hour open bar, hors d'oeuvres and stations. Discounted hotel rooms are available.

- Professor Albert R. Mugel received the Jaeckle Award.
- Stanley Nelson Lundine, former mayor, congressman and Lieutenant Governor of New York, addressed commencement.
- The Buffalo Law Review honored Hon. John T. Curtin '49.
- Toni Morrison received the Nobel Peace Prize for Literature.
- Dallas defeated Buffalo in the Super Bowl.

What your class has been up to...
John J. Jablonski ’93 is managing partner with Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady in the Buffalo office. Jablonski chairs the firm’s cyber, technology and social media practice group, the toxic tort and environmental practice group, and the employment and labor practice group. He lives in Hamburg, N.Y.
Ellen Shanahan Becker ’93 is special counsel with Hamberger & Weiss in the Buffalo office. Becker practices workers’ compensation law, representing insurance carriers and self-insured employers. She is a Buffalo resident.
Hon. Lynn M. Keane ’93 was elected New York State Supreme Court justice, 8th Judicial District, in Buffalo. Keane previously served as town justice in Orchard Park, N.Y., where she resides.
William K. Kennedy ’93 was named to the board of directors of Shakespeare in Delaware Park, in Buffalo. Kennedy is a partner with Rupp Baase Pfalzgraf Cunningham in the Buffalo office. He lives in East Amherst, N.Y.
Michelle M. Parker ’93 was elected treasurer of the Bar Association of Erie County, in Buffalo. She previously served as deputy treasurer. Parker is first assistant county attorney for Erie County. She lives in Hamburg, N.Y.
Jennifer R. Pitarresi ’93 received the 2017 Distinguished Alumna Award from Niagara County Community College in Sanborn, N.Y. Pitarresi is director of risk and insurance services for the County of Niagara in Lockport, N.Y. She is a resident of Niagara Falls, N.Y.
