    Hon. Thomas M. Van Strydonck ’73, a Supreme Court justice for the 7 Judicial District until 2012, served as chief administrative judge from 2000 to 2010. Appointed by Gov. George Pataki to the Supreme Court in 1998, he previously served as an assistant Monroe County district attorney and worked in private practice.
  • Margaret W. Wong ’76 - Jaeckle Award 2013

    Margaret W. Wong ’76, a renowned immigration lawyer, was recognized with the 36 Jaeckle Award, the highest honor the University at Buffalo School of Law and the Law Alumni Association can bestow. An immigrant and law school scholarship recipient, she has generously endowed a scholarship program and a full professorship.
  • Richard Lipsitz, Sr. ’43

    Richard Lipsitz Sr. ’43, a founder of Lipsitz Green Scime Cambria, is a Buffalo attorney renowned as a legal heavyweight in labor and civil Rights. He was an early supporter of the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s and a staunch opponent of the Vietnam War.
