We were fortunate enough to hire Stephen Paskey and George Brown '12 to join the LAWR Faculty and UB Law full-time. Hiring these individuals has allowed us to implement a third semester of LAWR that provides students with opportunities to choose how to fulfill their required third semester of LAWR. In the fall of 2024, this meant that students could choose from a litigation focus, the law firm experience, or a course focused on the interpretation and application of contract law.
All 134 students in the first-year class participated in 1L oral arguments in April 2024. These arguments spanned two nights and were judged entirely by local practitioners.
Farina Barth was elected to the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo, Inc. Board. Read more about her election and commitment to public service.
Angie McDuff served on the University Search Committee for the Dean of the School of Law.
