Hon. Barbara Howe ’80 has accepted a position as senior counsel with Woods Oviatt Gilman in the Buffalo office. Previously a New York State Surrogate Court Judge for Erie County, Howe has received the law school and Law Alumni Association’s Edwin F. Jaeckle Award and a Distinguished Law Alumni Award. She is a Buffalo resident.

Arthur A. Marrapese III ’81 has become a partner with Barclay Damon in the Buffalo office, counseling clients regarding labor and employment, and employee benefits. He was previously a partner with Hodgson Russ in Buffalo. Marrapese is a resident of Orchard Park, N.Y.

Yolanda Villa ’83 has been named Volunteer of the Month by the Worker Justice Center of New York’s Attorney Emeritus Program in Rochester, N.Y., where she resides. Villa, a retired attorney with the center, has contributed hundreds of pro bono hours to the program.

George W. Collins Jr. ’84 of Buffalo received the National Service to Youth Award from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Collins is a partner with Bouvier Partnership in Buffalo, practicing personal injury litigation.

Diane M. Perri Roberts ’90 has become a senior partner with Lipsitz Green Scime & Cambria in Buffalo, practicing employment and commercial litigation. She lives in Lewiston, N.Y.

John J. Jablonski ’93 has become managing partner with Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady in the Buffalo office. Jablonski chairs the firm’s cyber, technology and social media practice group, the toxic tort and environmental practice group, and the employment and labor practice group. He lives in Hamburg, N.Y.

Amy Habib Rittling ’95, a partner with Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman in Buffalo, has been appointed to the board of trustees of the University at Buffalo Foundation. She is a past member of the board of directors of the UB Law Alumni Association. Rittling lives in Amherst, N.Y.  

Daniel W. Gerber ’96 has become a partner with the Manhattan-based firm Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady. He is chair of the firm’s insurance solutions practice group in the Buffalo office. Kelly resides in Orchard Park, N.Y.

Andrew M. Wilson ’98 has joined Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman as a partner in the Buffalo office. Wilson handles cases involving immigration law, including non-immigrant and immigrant employment-based immigration matters. He lives in Williamsville, N.Y.

Timothy P. Noonan ’99 was appointed to the advisory board of the magazine State Tax Notes. Noonan is a partner with Hodgson Russ, practicing in the state and local tax practice group in the Buffalo office. He lives in Orchard Park, N.Y.

Brian S. McGrath ’00 has become a member of McGlinchey Stafford in New York City, where he resides. He practices commercial litigation with a focus on financial services litigation, intellectual property litigation, antitrust litigation and white-collar criminal investigations.

Paul A. Sanders ’03 has been promoted to partner with Barclay Damon in Rochester, N.Y., where he resides. Sanders is a member of the firm’s professional liability, torts and products liability defense, and commercial litigation practice areas.  

Christina V. Nunn ’05, a New York City resident, has become a member with McAloon & Friedman in New York City. She specializes in defending hospitals and health care providers in medical malpractice litigation.

Jennifer G. Flannery ’06 has been appointed public administrator for Erie County Surrogate’s Court in Buffalo. She is a partner with Barclay Damon in the Buffalo office and co-chair of the firm’s trusts and estates practice area. Flannery is a Buffalo resident.

Dennis Wiley ’06 of Syosset, N.Y., was promoted to partner with Rivkin Radler in Uniondale, N.Y. He practices estate planning, administration and litigation.

Rebecca L. Shelton ’07 has been promoted to partner with Thompson Coburn in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the firm’s utilities group, focusing on electricity regulation before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Shelton lives in Reston, Va.  

Priscilla E. Hampton ’08 has been promoted to partner with Perkins Coie in Portland, Ore., where she resides. She is a member of the firm’s environment and natural resources practice, handling cases involving the investigation, cleanup and allocation of liability at contaminated sites, including state-led cleanups and federal Superfund sediment sites. 

Ryan M. Murphy ’08 has been promoted to partner with Hodgson Russ in Buffalo. He concentrates his practice in the area of employee benefits. Murphy lives in East Aurora, N.Y. 

Daniel J. Pautz ’08 has been promoted to partner with Bond Schoeneck & King in the Syracuse, N.Y., office. Pautz practices litigation including toxic tort and environmental litigation. He is a Syracuse resident.

Jeffrey D. Casey ’09 of Pittsford, N.Y., has been promoted to partner with Ward Greenberg Heller & Reidy in Rochester, N.Y. Casey practices tort defense, professional liability and malpractice defense, and commercial litigation.
