Past Competition Results

The top three teams from our Intramural Competition have priority in selecting participation in the following competitions:

  • ABA (American Bar Association) Regionals
  • NYS Bar Association NYC Mediation & Negotiation Competition
  • IBA-VIAC Mediation & Negotiation Competition in Vienna, Austria

If any of the top three teams are unable to compete, other teams or individual students may be invited to participate.

Special congratulations to Beatrice Rule ‘24, who had to unexpectedly proceed in the competition without her teammate. Beatrice had the second highest score of the Competition, as a one-person team!

Regional Competition

There were 12 participating teams (24 law students) from 6 law schools (including UB Law) from around the country. The results of the 4 finalist teams that competed in the Sunday morning championship rounds are as follows: 

First Place:  Texas A&M and Liberty University
Runner Ups: Fordham and Texas A&M
