The University at Buffalo School of Law is proud to offer an array of Experiential Learning opportunities for law students to take advantage of. Clinical Legal Education is one such program that provides the community access to justice while teaching students to be “excellent, ethical, and engaged lawyers”. Upper-class and LL.M students are eligible to apply for these “clinics” and, if accepted, will work closely with skilled supervising attorneys and professors on real-world cases.

Teamwork is nearly synonymous with the sports world—and when it comes to the Sports Law Concentration, team-building is equally important. While athletes rely on cooperation and coordination on the field, sports lawyers rely on similar camaraderie off the field to find success.

The University at Buffalo School of Law is proud to have a diverse group of faculty members who bring insights from unique past and present experiences. Though many faculty members produce research and scholarship during their time in the classroom, many choose to continue to practice law and teach as adjunct professors. Here are some of our fantastic faculty who hold a great deal of experience in the legal profession, while also teaching courses here at UB Law.

Looking at tuition costs and trying to crunch the financial numbers for your law school experience. But don’t fret just yet! Many schools have a plethora of financial resources available for students to help lessen the financial burdens and costs associated with attending law school, and UB is no different.

In recognition of Black History Month, we want to highlight some of the most successful, influential, and well-known African American lawyers throughout United States history. Their impact should not only be celebrated for their work within their legal field, but for their impact as role models to many young African Americans during their time and in the years that followed.
