Pro Bono Scholars.

A win-win arrangement, our highly-competitive Pro Bono Scholars Program gives third-year law students the opportunity to take the February New York State Bar before they graduate, then work full-time in a pro bono placement while taking one course for their final semester of law school.

The School of Law does not provide direct pro bono legal services except for limited services provided through our Clinical Legal Education Program.

Additional Pro Bono Work

The School of Law values student pro bono work that is not for credit, paid, or stipend/fellowship supported. 

In addition to filling out the Form Affidavit for Compliance with the 50-hour requirement for admission to practice as an attorney, we ask that you report these hours by filling out the online form below so that you can receive recognition by the School of Law for your contribution.
