The Law Alumni Association recently welcomed our newest students to the UB Law community at an event that brought together generations of lawyers connected by a proud Buffalo Law tradition. From sharing advice to building new relationships, our alumni were eager to help kick off the law school journey for the Class of 2029.
The countdown to the first day of classes got a little more real at our 1L Section Reveal Party, where our incoming students learned which section they'll call home and met the classmates they'll spend countless hours learning, studying, and growing alongside.

It was a magical evening for family, friends and colleagues as the Law Alumni Association recognized five alumni and one non-alumnus—UB’s 15th president—at the Distinguished Alumni Awards.
We were proud to welcome local high school students to O’Brian Hall for Youth Law Day! Students were greeted by our Office of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging and Student Affairs, connected with current law students, heard from faculty members, and stepped into the role of advocates during a Mock Trial.
