Why did you choose UB School of Law?: After participating in UB Law’s Discover Law program, I witnessed firsthand how interconnected the Buffalo legal community was. From there it was easy to decide where I wanted to pursue my law school career. I wanted to be part of a supportive, tight-knit community where I could thrive in my career. Then there were also the particular clinics and programs I wanted to join that couldn’t be found elsewhere, those factors just further solidified my decision to pursue UB Law.

One piece of advice for accepted students: Give yourself grace. It’s easy to compare yourself to others but keep in mind, your first year of law school, especially first semester, is trial and error. Law school may be hard but it’s all about the work you’re willing to put in to succeed.

One fun fact about yourself: I studied martial arts for 7 years.

Give yourself grace. It’s easy to compare yourself to others but keep in mind, your first year of law school, especially first semester, is trial and error.
