UB School of Law teams represented Buffalo with distinction at local competitions and across the state. Below is an overview of their outstanding accomplishments:
Nov. 17 – The first place team at our Representation in Mediation Competition included Bridget Williams ‘19 and Bridget M. Morgan ‘19.
Nov. 9-11 - Jacob M. Eckenrode '19 received Best Direct Examination at the Buffalo-Niagara Mock Trial Competition.
Nov. 2-3 - Our team of Kristen R. Spulecki '19, Vicki M. Bell '19 and Emily G. Sauers '19 received Best Brief at the Judith S. Kaye Arbitration Competition in New York City.

Nov. 3 – The winners of our 2018 Charles S. Desmond Moot Court Competition were Destiny M. Johnson '20 and Chloe J. Nowak '20. Runners up were Meghan Carrig '20 and Hannah M. Rauh '20.
Best Brief went to Julia A. O'Sullivan '20 and Samantha R. Rubino '20; Johnson received Best Oral Advocate; Rauh received the George Kannar Award.
Oct. 27-28 - Sarah A. Elardo '19, William F. Fitzgerald '19, Salvatore M. Prince '19 and Spencer R. Stresing '19 took first place in the Queens County District Attorney Mock Trial Competition. Elardo received Best Overall Advocate.
