Patricia S. Ciccarelli ’93 has been elected president of the UB Law Alumni Association. She is a partner with Schnitter Ciccarelli Mills PLLC in Williamsville, N.Y. 

Sharon L. Nosenchuck ’94, senior attorney with Neighborhood Legal Services Inc. in Buffalo, was elected to the board of directors of the UB Law Alumni Association.  

Hon. Susan M. Eagan ’96, Erie County Court judge in Buffalo, was elected to the board of directors of the UB Law Alumni Association.

Heather Gresham ’96 was elected a vice president of the UB Law Alumni Association. She is counsel and vice president for people and culture with RepresentUs, a political nonprofit based in Florence, Mass. Gresham is a past recipient of the Trailblazer of the Year Award presented at the law school's Students of Color Annual Awards Dinner.

Rosanna Berardi ’97 was elected a member of the board of directors of the UB Law Alumni Association. Berardi is founder and managing partner of Berardi Immigration Law, one of the only women-owned immigration law firms in the Buffalo Niagara region.

William T. O'Connell ’97 was appointed executive director of Neighborhood Legal Services Inc. in Buffalo. He previously served as the regional director for New York and New Jersey, Community Planning and Development, with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Amanda F. McCormick ’01, faculty services librarian at the School of Law Charles B. Sears Law Library, was promoted to associate librarian with tenure.

Elizabeth Fox-Solomon ’06 was named interim director of the Office of Human Rights in Washington, D.C. She most recently served as general counsel.  

Richard J. Marinaccio ’07 was elected a vice president of the UB Law Alumni Association. Marinaccio is a partner with Phillips Lytle LLP in Buffalo and a member of the firm’s Canadian Cross Border team. 

James O’Keefe ’07 was elected secretary of the UB Law Alumni Association. O’Keefe is an attorney with William Mattar, P.C., in Williamsville, N.Y., and is a lifetime member of the UB Law Alumni Association.

Stephanie J. Calhoun ’08 was elected treasurer of the UB Law Alumni Association. She is assistant attorney general with the New York State Attorney General’s Office in Buffalo. Calhoun is a past recipient of the Trailblazer Award presented at the law school's Students of Color Annual Awards Dinner.

Jeffrey P. Gleason ’08 was elected president-elect of the UB Law Alumni Association. He is a lifetime member of the association and a member with Bond Schoeneck & King PLLC in the Buffalo office.

Justin R. Hartman ’09, co-founder and master distiller of Hartman’s Distilling Co. in Buffalo, was elected to the board of directors of the UB Law Alumni Association.

Elise L. Cassar ’10 was elected assistant secretary of the UB Law Alumni Association. She is a senior associate with Duke Holzman Photiadis & Gresens LLP in Buffalo.

Neil A. Pawlowski ’10 was elected treasurer-elect of the UB Law Alumni Association. Pawlowski is a founding partner of Duggan & Pawlowski LLP in Buffalo. He is a member of the School of Law’s Dean’s Advisory Council and a lifetime member of the UB Law Alumni Association.

Anant Kishore ’11 was elected to the board of directors of the UB Law Alumni Association. Kishore is an attorney with O’Brien & Ford, P.C., in Buffalo.

TheArthur A. Duncan II ’12, owner of T. Duncan Law Firm PLLC in Buffalo, was elected to the board of directors of the UB Law Alumni Association.

Nate T. Yohannes ’12 has become president of Zeta Global and AI Lab and global head of research and development in New York City. Zeta Global is an AI-powered marketing cloud that leverages proprietary AI and trillions of consumer signals to acquire, grow and retain customers more efficiently. Yohannes previously served as senior GenAI group product leader, Foundational LLMs for Content & Ads Relevance, with Meta in New York City.

Nicholas A. Romano ’13 was elected a vice president of the UB Law Alumni Association. Romano is a partner with Connors LLP in Buffalo.  

Elizabeth A. Bove ’14 has become senior director and general counsel with AAA Western and Central New York in Buffalo. She previously served as corporate counsel. 

Megan K. Barth ’15 has become associated with Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak LLP in the Buffalo office, specializing in insurance defense. She was previously assistant staff counsel with Liberty Mutual Insurance in Buffalo.

Katelyn E. Hafner ’15 has joined Kenney Shelton Liptak Nowak LLP in Buffalo, practicing insurance defense. Hafner was previously assistant field counsel with Liberty Mutual Insurance in Buffalo.

Todd J. Potter Jr. ’15, a Buffalo solo practitioner, was elected to the board of directors of the UB Law Alumni Association. He is a past president of the association’s GOLD Group and a lifetime member of the Law Alumni Association.   

Catherine J. McCulle ’16 was elected treasurer of the UB Law Alumni Association’s GOLD Group. McCulle is an attorney with the Law Office of Lindy Korn PLLC in Buffalo.

Washington is a past president of the UB Law GOLD Group and a past recipient of the Trailblazer Award presented at the law school's Students of Color Annual Awards Dinner.

Marina A. Barci ’18 was elected president of the UB Law Alumni Association’s GOLD Group. She is an attorney with Kahana Feld LLP, practicing in the firm’s national appellate litigation and consulting group in Buffalo.

Alexandria N. Rowen ’19 was elected treasurer-elect of the UB Law Alumni Association’s GOLD Group. Rowen is a senior associate with Hodgson Russ LLP in Buffalo.

Mohammed A. Alam ’20 was elected a member of the board of directors of the UB Law Alumni Association’s GOLD Group. He is an associate with Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt LLP in New York City.

Morgann K. Obrochta ’20 was elected president-elect of the UB Law Alumni Association’s GOLD Group. Obrachta is an assistant county attorney with the Erie County Department of Law in Buffalo.

Lindsay M. Castro ’21 was elected secretary-elect of the UB Law Alumni Association’s GOLD Group. Castro is general counsel and vice president of human resources with HCM Unlocked in Clarence Center, N.Y., a global Human Capital Management Managed Service Organization that supports clients in payroll processing, HR administration, benefit administration, recruiting, data analytics and technology consulting.

Michael J. Lang ’23 has joined Barclay Damon LLP as an associate in the Rochester, N.Y., office, concentrating his practice on insurance coverage disputes, including analyzing and litigating complex legal issues. Before joining the firm, Lang was an appellate court attorney for the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department, in Rochester.

Chanel M. Powell ’23 was elected a member of the board of directors of the UB Law Alumni Association’s GOLD Group. Powell is a cybersecurity and privacy associate with Nixon Peabody LLP in the Rochester, N.Y., office.

Aliza Berger ’24, an associate with Berger Berger & Sobieski in Buffalo, was elected a member of the board of directors of the UB Law Alumni Association’s GOLD Group.
