Barry Bull ’25

Find your herd!

Stuffed animal bison with skis and goggles on.

Hometown: Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
(I know, I'm a bit of a wild one!)

Undergraduate Institution and Major: University of Colorado Boulder, BA in Environmental Studies and Geology. This is where I met my best friend, Chip the Buffalo!

Legal Interests: As a bison, I am interested in environmental law and conservation efforts. I also have a soft spot for animal rights and welfare issues.

Law School Activities: First-Generation Law Students Association, Student Wellness Society & Native Indigenous Law Students Association. Next year I hope to join the Environmental Law or Animal Law Clinic.

Why did you choose UB? Well, to no one's surprise, I felt right at home on UB's campus. But in all seriousness, I was drawn to UB School of Law's commitment to social justice and the opportunities it provides for hoof-on learning opportunities.

One fun fact about yourself: I love to ski and although I have four feet, I only use two skis!

Advice to newly accepted students: Find your herd! Whether that be through student organizations or study groups – you will easily make friends at UB, and they will help you get through the difficulties of law school.
