Why did you choose UB School of Law? I chose UB Law because it immediately felt like a place where I could grow into myself. Coming from a social work background, I wanted a school that valued people, supported nontraditional students, and opened doors to new possibilities I was still discovering. UB’s faculty, community, and hands-on opportunities made me feel seen and supported from the start. It felt like the kind of environment where I could challenge myself, explore new directions, and become the kind of lawyer I’m meant to be.

Law school will challenge you in ways you don’t expect, but feeling overwhelmed doesn’t mean you don’t belong. Trust that you’ve earned your seat!
One piece of advice for accepted students: Give yourself grace. Law school will challenge you in ways you don’t expect, but feeling overwhelmed doesn’t mean you don’t belong. Trust that you’ve earned your seat!
One fun fact about yourself: I’m happiest on, in, or near water: tubing, kayaking, boating, floating, all of it. I even like shark diving and swimming through the Everglades, so clearly I approach high-adrenaline situations with great enthusiasm.
