Discover Law Undergraduate Scholars Program

Harnessing the power of diversity

Recognizing that there is a shortage of students with different backgrounds and lived experiences entering the field of law, the School of Law created the Discover Law Undergraduate Scholars Program to provide an immersive experience for undergraduates interested in pursuing a career in law, expose students to critical thinking and help them develop reading and analytical skills, and provide an in-depth and thorough experience in a four-week residential summer program.

Our Summer Discover Law Program will take place
Saturday, May 31 to Friday June 27, 2025.
The deadline to apply is Tuesday, April 15th.

This program is at no cost to participants. It is intended for undergraduates from underrepresented and/or under-resourced backgrounds, including students who are first-generation college students, are Pell-eligible, military veterans, or economically disadvantanged according to income guidelines set by the New York State Education Department. In addition, you must have completed your freshman or sophomore year, but will not commence your junior year before the end of the program.
