Achieving Academic Success

The School of Law provides a number of services to help students achieve their academic success.

We provide assistance to law students using a variety of methods.

One-on-One Assistance

Vice Dean for Student Affairs Bernadette Gargano meets individually with students to provide guidance and assistance with academic and personal concerns.

The Vice Dean makes referrals as appropriate for other services and support within the School of Law and University community.

Academic Skills

Director of Academic Success William MacDonald is available to meet with students individually. He also teaches advanced writing courses to strengthen the practice ready skills of our students.

Faculty and Peers

Students also receive academic support through individual meetings with faculty, through upper-class mentors and some tutoring offered by a number of student organizations.
