OUTLaw promotes a positive atmosphere at Buffalo Law for LGBT students and their allies.
Our primary objective is to educate our colleagues about the legal issues surrounding sexual orientation and gender identity, as well as the ways discrimination against this population may be compounded by other intersecting identities.
OUTLaw sponsors activities, panels, social events, and service projects that build a network for both members and supporters of the LGBTQ+ legal community.
OUTLaw cordially invites you to our 2022 Annual Dinner & Awards Celebration:
Honoree: At the 2022 OUTLaw Dinner, we will honor GLYS WNY, Inc. for the support and community it provides to LGBTQ youth and their families in the Western New York region.
GLYS offers a number of programming for LGBTQ youth and their families, including a Drop-In Center, support groups for transgender and gender-expansive youth and their caregivers, an annual Diversity Prom for LGBTQ youth, and more.
GLYS is also a key community partner of the Youth Gender Affirmation Program of Western New York, the region’s first comprehensive program to connect transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive youth and their caretakers with adequate gender affirming services.
Health and Safety: For the safety of all attendees, OUTLaw kindly requests that you show proof of vaccination at the door of the event (except for medical and religious exemptions). We also request that masks be worn when not eating or drinking. If you are not feeling well, we kindly ask that you stay home.
How to Attend: If you are interested in attending, tickets and corporate opportunities are available for purchase online. To purchase tickets online, please create a ‘Guest Account” upon login in order to properly process your purchase.
