Scholarships

There are many scholarship opportunities available with the School of Law, as well as within the community and across the country.  

  • Law School Scholarships
    8/8/25
    Scholarship opportunities available to enrolled UB School of Law student. These scholarships are renewed on an annual basis and are based on donor funding.
  • External Scholarships
    7/1/25
    Private scholarship opportunities offered by law firms and community organizations. Scholarships are available to incoming and continuing students.

Merit Scholarships

If you have received a merit or Dean's scholarship from the School of Law, please refer to the information contained in your admit letter to determine the stipulations surrounding the scholarship. 

Merit Scholarship and Named Admission Scholarship for continuing students will be posted to your Financial Aid summary during the first week of August subject to all conditions within our Merit Scholarship Policy (see below) being fulfilled by students.
