Scholarships available for first-year JD law students. You must be a matriculated UB School of Law first year student to apply.
You work hard for scholarships. UB Scholarship Portal makes them easy to find. Current, matriculated, UB School of Law 1L JD students can use the UB Scholarship Portal to find named scholarship opportunities.
Students must complete both the General Application and the Law School Conditional Application within the portal. Login using your UBIT username and password. Once completed and submitted, you will be automatically matched up with law school scholarship opportunities. You can return to your portal to make changes at anytime prior to the application closing date.

Students will receive SIP announcements on the actual dates when application is open for submission.
Please be advised that Unmet Need (as defined by the Office of Financial Aid) and UB School of Law good academic standing (as defined in the GARP) are considered heavily in the review process. Please ensure that you submit your application attaching all your grades from the Fall semester.
If you are selected as the recipient of a scholarship you will be notified and any funds received will be split evenly between the Fall and Spring semesters, and be applied directly in HUB.
