Why did you choose UB School of Law?: As an undergraduate student in the UB School of Management, I had the chance to experience the true impact of the UB community. I cherished my time as an undergrad and I knew I wanted a similar experience in law school. Deciding on the right law school was a tough decision and I certainly had to weigh many competing options. Ultimately, I chose UB School of Law because I knew I’d have the opportunity to explore new interests, foster impactful relationships, and continue growing as a student.

One piece of advice for accepted students: Get as much information as you can about the school. Don’t look just at rankings, classes, and basic statistical data about law school. Such data is certainly important, but it won’t tell you much about the school. Talk to current students, ask to sit in on a 1L lecture, sit in the library to see if the environment is right for you, and don’t shy away from asking questions. The only way you can ever know if the school is right for you is to ask as many questions as you can to make the most informed decision possible.
One fun fact about yourself: I am very passionate about educational issues – curricula, teacher preparation, student voice, and educational history, to name a few. In my free time, I love watching TV shows, movies, and anything Marvel and riding my bike or going for hikes around Buffalo.
