Why did you choose UB School of Law?: The School of Law has an amazing reputation and community around the university. On top of a great education, I get to stay close to my family and friends.
One piece of advice for accepted students: Don’t let your nerves stop you from enjoying every step of the process and making new friends.
One fun fact about yourself: I love all animals; I have literally never met one I didn’t want to take home with me. My favorite 3 are bunnies, horses, and dogs. I own two of them and I’ve been riding horses since I was 5 years old. My dream is to own a rescue barn one day.
Please share a uniquely Buffalo experience you have had: Going to Bills games and hanging out before the game is always so fun. Everyone roots on their team, but no one does it like Buffalo does.
What is your favorite book and why? Actually the book we had to read this summer, Devil in the Grove, has become my new favorite book. I’m so inspired by Thurgood Marshall and his work with the Civil Rights movement. I think it’s such an important book for everyone to read and I encourage everyone to read it.
Do you have a pet/pets? Tell us about them. I have a 2 year old labrador/ pitbull mix named Holly. She was rescued from Kentucky, where she was severely abused. I fostered her as a puppy and adopted her, she’s turned into my best friend and has the sweetest personality of any dog my family has ever had. Her story is inspiring and I just love her so much. I also have her best friend, Oliver, who is a 1 year old dwarf bunny. He is the cutest little guy and he and Holly love to play together in my room.
