Jéla Paul ‘24

Hometown: Queens, NY

Undergraduate Institution and Major(s)/Minor(s): University at Buffalo, Major: Sociology, Minor: Law

Legal Interests: Trademarks & Copyrights, Copyright Law

Why did you choose UB School of Law?: Knowing that I’ve always wanted to be an attorney, I decided to attend UB for undergrad because of the reputation of UB School of Law. The law school provides a great legal education for an affordable price. Additionally, I was able to remain in Buffalo, a city which I was already familiar with from undergrad.

One piece of advice for accepted students: Remember your “WHY” and look to your support system when things get rough. Put yourself first and prioritize a balance. Do what works for YOU!

One fun fact about yourself: I love to travel and I graphic design in my free time.

Remember your ‘WHY’ and look to your support system when things get rough. Put yourself first and prioritize a balance. Do what works for YOU!
