"Law school will be hard, but it isn’t impossible and it certainly doesn’t have to be miserable. Do the work, but ENJOY it! Don’t let yourself get sucked into a rabbit hole of self-pity."
Hometown: Attica, NY
Undergraduate Institution and Major(s)/Minor(s): University at Buffalo, Sociology
Legal Interests: Advocacy
Law School activities: UB Law Alumni Association, student member. I also intend to join the Advocacy Institute and apply to Trial Team.
One piece of advice for accepted students: Law school will be hard, but it isn’t impossible and it certainly doesn’t have to be miserable. Do the work, but ENJOY it! Don’t let yourself get sucked into a rabbit hole of self-pity.
One fun fact about yourself: I’m a certified Yoga instructor.
Why did you choose UB School of Law?: While attending undergrad at UB, I learned that the law school has so much to offer; for me, it was really more about deciding to go to law school at all. I think one of the best things about UB Law is the sense of community, both within the school and throughout the alumni. I know many attorneys who attended UB Law who are not only successful, but are also very proud to be alumni, which I think says a lot!
