Forget the courtroom drama—some of UB Law’s most inspiring moments are happening in a four-door sedan somewhere between Rochester and Buffalo. For four first-year students, the New York State Thruway isn’t just a long stretch of asphalt; it’s a rolling study hall, podcast lounge, and occasional nap zone.

Buffalo was buzzing with energy and excitement from October 24–26, 2025, when UB Law welcomed 26 law schools from across the country for the 22nd Annual Buffalo Niagara Mock Trial Competition, one of the largest and most prestigious national invitationals in the country.

UB Law is igniting a bold new chapter—an initiative that fuses its proud history with limitless possibilities, honoring the generations who built the law school community and challenging today’s members to imagine the mark they’ll make.
